Stripe

Stripe offers many possibilities for online payments. In Skanom we have integrated Stripe to enable online payments for our services.

Create a Stripe Account

To use Stripe, you must have a Stripe account and create an application in Stripe. After creating the application, you will receive a Publishable key and a Secret key. These two keys are required to configure Stripe in Skanom.

1. Create a Stripe account https://dashboard.stripe.com/register

Once you have created and verified your account, proceed with the steps below.

Get Stripe Keys

• Visit Developers -> API keys to get the keys or click here https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys
  • You need the Publishable key and Secret key. These keys will be configured in your Skanom application.

Stripe can initially be tested using test keys. To use Stripe in production, you must complete your profile on Stripe and use the production keys in Skanom.

Configuration in Skanom

To configure Stripe in your application, you need the keys from the previous step. Follow the steps below:

1. Log in to skanom.com
2. Click on Settings -> Online payments
3. Enter the keys in the corresponding fields in the Stripe form
4. Activate Stripe by clicking on the Activate Stripe button

TIP

Re-enter the Secret key in Settings -> Online payments -> Stripe and save for Skanom to refresh and apply the necessary changes in Stripe.

Payment Methods

Visit https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods to activate the payment methods you wish to offer in your application.
